Is Kefalonia worth visiting?
Kefalonia was worth it for us — five nights in July 2026, for the scale of the coastline and how little the island felt crowded at the height of summer. It is large, and we covered it by taxi over long, winding roads. That is one stay's view, not a ranking.

We did not have one. We used taxis for the whole stay in July 2026 — the easiest option to get, though the fares add up. The places in our record sit far apart on winding roads; Costa Costa was about an hour and a half's drive. We did not rent a car, so we cannot compare.
