The mornings left the least behind. The record dates the ancient sites but not the hours: Epidaurus in July 2013, the Portara on Naxos in July 2025, Ancient Messene in July 2026. We did not log when we went in, the temperature or the size of the crowd, so this page makes no claim about how empty a site is at opening or how full it is by mid-morning.
The afternoons left more. The July 2026 card record includes a beach club at Vouliagmeni on the Riviera, billed on July 8, and our photographs from the same summer include a beach club's menu on Antisamos, on Kefalonia, on July 11. That is where the middle of our days went.
